Hey everyone,

I recently had to charge my 2013 Smart with an extension cord - unfortunate, I know - and ended up melting the plug end of it (the one that plugs into a 110V outlet).
I cut the plug off and replaced it, and everything was working fine for a few weeks. A couple of nights ago my car didn't charge at all. I tried again, and it charged. Then I had the same problem last night. I took the plug end apart again, checked all of the connections, took it apart and reassembled it, and still nothing.

Both of the alert lights are flashing red on the box, and the line of 4 green lights flashes only 3 green lights.

Could anyone help me out with this? I'm really not sure what to do here as I'm uncertain Mercedes will honour the warranty on the EVSE (I have reached out to them anyway and am awaiting a response) and I am unable to install a 220V charger at my current place of residence.

Any help/tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
