We have a 2014 electric cabriolet and have a 10 year lease/warranty on the battery. The battery completely failed last October. As it is under warranty, Mercedes should replace the battery. We have been waiting over 5 months only to be told that they do not have an ETA on the shipment of the replacement battery. It is coming from Daimler in Germany. Has anyone had this issue? Has anyone purchased a new electric vehicle in the past month? I cannot find any dealers in the USA that have 2019 electric Smart cars.

Hi,

We just leased a 2018 Smart EQ from Smart Center of Boston a few weeks ago, and they had about six 2019 models, I think.
